I’ve seen this happen time and time again. Thus, we didn’t complete it on +3 it went to +2. He yelled at the tank so bad he quit and then the healer quit. Instead of just dropping it and finishing the run in time. The healer absolutely screamed at the tank for one mistake. It was my key and I was just in chill mode. He adjusted and we were still doing great time. It was a +3 and really not that big a deal. Not to mention there is a very volatile crowd. Now I’m more or less done with visions.īlizz keeps flipflopping with these systems, RNG then not RNG, no currency to buy things then bam currency to buy thing, no alt catchups, too many alt catchups – they need to figure out what actually works (which we have been saying for a long time) and stick to it. The cloak is maybe the only grindy system I didn’t hate, because there was a clear end goal, level 15. I don’t need 485 gear because I don’t do content high enough to warrant that. I don’t really care about having the max ranks of essences I don’t need nor will I ever use. I suppose it boils down to what you find fun, really. The current system has definitely put me off on all of my alts. that was a grind.įor people who have only 1 main character, I don’t think it’s too terrible.

I sat in Sorrow Hill for weeks farming mobs cuz they spawned fast and there weren’t anymore quests to do. Remember the grind from 55-60? Absolutely terrible. Well, grinding has kind of always been part of this game. Maybe 1 out of every 10 M+ I run actually falls apart completely. I too have had my share of this terrible experiences, but I think I’ve gotten really lucky (which is ridiculous that luck is such a huge factor in one’s enjoyment of this game) in that I haven’t had groups fall apart like that incredibly often. My friends cannot understand how I still play WoW, while they hop games every month, whenever Steam has a sale or whatever.

Part of it I think is just maybe you’ve had enough of this game. Would assume it’s just something that has taken a hit because of cost cutting. More active moderation would allow for that, but it doesn’t seem like Blizzard is as interested in that as they have been in the past. They really do need a way to encourage players to… do the right thing. While there are some obvious advantages to having cross realm content, the communities really suffered. There were a couple guilds that you just tended to avoid because those players always tended to trolls. Getting put on ignore meant something in a way. In wrath, I did a ton of pugs and it was easy to weed out the rude players as I had likely already played with them. Now, you can log on and never see the same person twice while doing your dailies. In the not so distant past, most of the content we did in Wow revolved around the server we played on. There is no accountability for being rudeĪ lot of that stems from x-realm and phasing content. I despise grinding reps and I hate the toxicity of the community.
